Demicaedromantic is a term under the caedromantic umbrella that describes someone who was once alloromantic but is now demiromantic due to traumatic events. This is due to the fact that one now needs to have an emotional connection with another in order to build enough trust/safety/comfortability to be feel attraction to them.
This term should only be used by trauma survivors and those with PTSD.
The sexual equivalent is demicaedsexual

The term demicaedromantic was coined on August, 15th, 2021 by RegardlessThyme2 after the demicaedsexual page was made and there was no romantic variant made at the time
