Demicaedromantic is a term under the caedromantic umbrella that describes an individual who was once alloromantic, but is now demiromantic due to traumatic events. This is due to the fact that one now needs to have an emotional connection with another in order to build enough trust/safety/comfortability to be feel attraction to them.
