History
Defluogender was coined on November 9, 2018 by Tumblr user Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags.[1]
Flag
The first defluogender flag was coined by Tumblr user gendernasiterna on January 30, 2019. There is currently no known meaning behind the design.[2]
The alternate defluogender was coined by FANDOM user HandMeMyShovel on March 23, 2021. The blue shades represent the vast sky, and the balloon represent the gender that floated away. The balloon is also there because of how they tend to get lost in the sky.
