Dalekoromantic is an a-spec identity where someone feels more romantic attraction to those who are physically distant from them, and loses attraction when they get physically closer. They may experience stronger attraction while using distance communication, such as texting, voice call, or video call, but in-person communication causes them to lose attraction. Some may only experience attraction when meeting in person is virtually impossible. Dalekoromantics tend to prefer long distance relationships.
This may or may not overlap with one being internetromantic.
It is the opposite of bliskoromantic. The sexual counterpart is dalekosexual.
