Contraic is “opposite” gender attraction for non-binary people. For example, a demiboy attracted to demigirls may consider themselves to be contraic. This may be used interchangebly with strayt in some cases, however strayt people may be attracted to binary genders that are considered their opposite (example: a demiboy attracted to demigirls and women) while contraic might only refer to other non-binary genders, depending on who you ask.
The opposite of contraic is symmaic.

The flag was coined by Tumblr user Identity-Workshop on May 22, 2018. The colors in contraic are purples tinged in blue and pink, to represent masculinity and femininity. It uses yellow to represent non-binary attraction.
