Contragender is the state of identifying as the antigender of one's AGAB. For example, one who was assigned male at birth might feel they are the opposite of male (antiboy), but not necessarily female.

History

Contragender was coined on or before July 18, 2014 by Tumblr user tenderagender.^[1]
