    Contrafe is a gender that is not derived from womanhood or femininity yet still feels female or feminine in a unique way.

    It is similar to juxera, the main difference being that it is not derived from womanhood or femininity in any way. It is the feminine equivalent of contramas. The androgynous equivalent is contrandrog.

    Etymology

    Contrafe is a combination of the Latin words contra, meaning against, and femina, meaning feminine.

    History

    The term was coined by Fandom user Honk4bees on June 5th, 2021.

    Flag

    The flag was created by the same user on the same date. The pink stripes represent how contrafe relates to femininity, and the yellow stripes represent a distinction from femininity. The gradient represents how these two elements mix with each other.
