Confettigender is an aesthetigender that is related to confetti, party poppers, noise makers, or celebrations involving confetti in general. It can be used by non-binary and/or transgender people.

    History

This term was originally coined[1] on June 22, 2018 by an anonymous commenter on the Uncommongenders page of mogaipedia with the description "A gender associated with confetti. Can be modified for things like Starfettigender (star-shaped confetti) or even Confettimasc (confetti and masculine feelings)." There was no flag at the time.

It was later re-coined by Fandom / LGBTA+ wiki user CureCorpse to mean what it does now.

    Flag

The Confettigender flag was designed by the same user who re-coined the term. The rainbow represents different coloured confetti pieces.
