Line 5:
Someone may be closeted around some people and not others. For example, if someone has told their friends about their sexuality or gender but not their parents, they would be "out of the closet" around their friends but "closeted" to their parents.
==Reasons someone might be closeted==
*Safety Reasons- they might be in an highly homophobic family or community and there is a real possibility that they could be hurt/killed/kicked out of their house/disowned, etc.
*Unsure about their identity- Someone might be sure they are [[Queer]] in some way, but have not discovered a label for themselves or are unsure about what they feel.
*Fear of Acceptance- They might fear that they won't be accepted by friends and family, even if they are safe to do so.
