Cishet

Cishet, also known as cishetallo, pericishet, periallocishet, monocishet, monoallocishet, perimonocishet, or perimonoallocishet is a term used by LGBTQ+ individuals to easily describe those who are not members of the community in any way, shape or form. This means individuals who are simultaneously cisgender, heterosexual, heteroromantic, suptilic allosexual, suptilic alloromantic, monogamous, dyadic, perioriented, and exclusively one of the two binary genders. System members must also be afficgender. The term originated within the trans community, particularly among straight trans individuals, and was created as a way to specify someone who is not part of the LGBTQ+ community by virtue of orientation or gender.

Exclusionists

Exclusionists have often used the term cishet to try to erase a-spec individuals (particularly heteroromantic asexuals and aromantic heterosexuals) from the community as they use the term to imply that a-specs aren't inherently LGBT+ by being a-spec. These individuals will sometimes use "cishet" as a code word for asexual heteroromantics and/or aromantic heterosexuals (and sometimes a-spec individuals in general).

They will also sometimes use it and similar terms to try to erase varioriented, intersex, polyamorous, non-suptilic allospec, cis nonbinary, and detragender individuals.

Variants

The term "cishetallo" or "cisallohet" or "allocishet" is sometimes preferable to make it clear that one is not referring to a-specs.

Some use the term "pericishet" (perisex cishet), "periallocishet", or "dycishet" (dyadic cishet) to refer to cishet individuals who are also perisex/dyadic (not intersex), to show that intersex individuals have a place in the LGBTQ+ community by virtue of being intersex, even without orientation or gender.

Those who consider polyamorous individuals to be inherently LGBTQ+ may use the term monocishet, perimonocishet, monoallocishet, or perimonoallocishet. The 'mono' stands for monoamorous or monogamous.
