    The other-coloured triangle represents the different label used than the person's actual gender.

    Choicegender is a microlabel for when you are unsure of your gender identity or experience identity dysphoria so you choose a gender you like more.

    This is not to imply gender itself is a choice, simply that you chose what to label it as.

    For example, a genderfluid person may call themselves bigender or demigender because they dislike the genderfluid label. Or, a person may dislike the connotations of "girl" so they call themselves something else despite being comfortable being a girl.

    Not to be confused with Recugender.
