It's a gender that encompasses the strong vital connection with the mythical beasts known as chimeras whether it be straight from their lore or chimeras represented in different media. This gender was also heavily inspired by Kasane Teto[1], an UTAUloid who's gender is chimera. Anyone who relates to Kasane Teto can use chimeragender as well. Chimeragender is free for anyone to use, especially those who are neurodivergent and have a complex relationship with the concept of gender.

Chimeragender was coined and created by diefaketodo on Tumblr, submitted to xeno-aligned[2] on June 11, 2020 in order to properly coin.
