Chickengender is a xenogender identity that has to do with chickens. One may feel that their gender feels chicken-like, related to certain qualities of chickens, feels inexplicably tied to chickens, or simply can best be described through chicken-related things and metaphors. One might try to incorporate chickens and their qualities into their gender in any way they can, or their gender presentation.
Chickengender may also be a kingender for those whose gender is related to them being chickenkin and/or any other related kintypes. However, it doesn't have to be.
History
Chickengender first appeared on the LGBTA wiki on April 13, 2021. It coined by Chickenonaharness.
A flag was coined on the same day by FANDOM user MaxTheTransGuy. The top two and bottom two colors are based off colours that chickens can be and the middle is for the color of a chickens comb. a chicken silhouette is also featured.
Another flag was coined a few days later on April 16, 2021 by FANDOM user ringotheman, based on cartoon depictions of chickens.
