    The Caligian flag.

Caligian is a xenogender from the element system. It is a combination of the feminine element eluvian (water), and the undefined element ventulian (air). It is represented by the element of mist. The noun form of the word is caligi (ex: I am caligi).

    History

Caligian was first known to be coined on January 14th, 2018, along with the flag[1], but it was likely coined earlier than that on a Google spreadsheet[2].

    Flag

The flag's colors are light purple and dark purple - not really the colors of mist, but it was likely chosen so it's not too similar to the vaporian flag. There is a diamond in the center, representing the eluvian and ventulian triangles stuck together.

    Etymology

The word caligian comes from the Latin word caligo, meaning "darkness", "mist", or "fog"[3].
