Caedlesbian refers to someone who was once bisexual or otherwise mspec, but due to trauma, feels as if their attraction to one or more genders was cut away and now they identify as lesbian. The term is exclusive to trauma survivors, but it does not have to be any specific type of trauma.
The gay equivalent is caedgay. The straight equivalent is caedstraight.
History
The term was coined by instagram user aethercourse [1] on May 25th, 2021. He created the counterpart term, caedgay, privately for a fanfiction he was writing that is unpublished, but publicly coined it for an alter in the DID system he is the host of, along with the accompanying terms.
Flag
The flag takes the shapes from the bottom of the Caedsexual and Caedromantic flags, and puts them on the side of the mspec flag to show that part being ‘cut away’, and the other half of the flag remains uncovered by the shapes to show the current identity and attraction. [1]
