Brightgender is a xenogender identity where someone's gender is bright, colourful and chaotic. It can also be used to describe someone whose gender is based of the brightness level, e.g., when it is light is is female and when it is dark it is male.
Brightgender may be used in combination with other genders. Subsets of brightgender include brightboy and brightgirl.
History
Brightgender was coined on the 31st of August 2021 by FANDOM user AceTheSpace (AceDaSpace on twitch & AceInDaSpace on tumblr) when they were having trouble finding the correct gender identity for them.
