Boubagender is an aesthetigender based on the bouba/kiki effect [1] - specifically the shape that is more commonly assigned the name 'bouba'. This gender is dull, rounded and amorphous. It is also associated with a low density, gender euphoria and being gender receptive.
The opposite of boubagender is kikigender.
The word 'bouba' is the adjectival form of boubagender. To say that something is 'bouba' is to say that it has some of the qualities of a boubagender but is not necessary boubagender. For example "My quoimasculine gender is very bouba."
History
This term was coined by Fenryr from the Obsidian System in a discord server called xenos and co on the 20th of December, 2021. [2][3]
