A bihet flag

Bihet (bi-hetero) or bistraight (bi straight) is a term describing an individual who is both bi and straight (hetero). This can include:

• Bi individuals who reclaim the term;
• Those who experience hetero attraction while attracted to more than one gender;
• Those who are attracted to multiple genders that are different from their own, such as penultisexual or differosexual;
• Varioriented and variangled individuals, such as biromantic heterosexuals, heteroromantic bisexuals, heteroplatonic bisensuals, biaesthetic heterosensuals, and other tertiary/eriattractions;
• Someone with a hetero-leaning bisexuality, such as heteroflexible;
• Bicurious or homocurious straights;
• Bi darcians (romeric bihets), bi bennetians (julietian bihets), and bi jaustenians (juleric bihets);
• Anyone else who feel comfortable using the term.

History

It was initially used as a derogatory slang among radfems directed at bisexual women in duaric relationships, who experience predominant heterosexual attraction, or prefer duaric relationships, implying they are less queer/LGBT+. The term is reclaimed by some, and also used as a specific descriptor of certain experiences of orientation and sexuality. However, the term should only be used if the person consents being identified as such.

Reddit user LoafuNoHomo posted on QueerVexillology on January 7, 2022 a flag for individuals who reclaim bihet.
