Bellusromantic is a microlabel on the aromantic spectrum defined as having interest in traditionally romantic things, such as kissing or cuddling, but not feeling romantic attraction, and not wanting a romantic relationship. A bellusromantic individual may enjoy or desire these activities in non-romantic contexts, but does not enjoy them in the context of a romantic relationship.
Although it is most commonly used by aromantic individuals, the original creator did not intend the term to indicate romantic orientation.
The sexual counterpart is bellussexual.
History
Bellusromantic was most likely coined by Tumblr user mogai-lexicon on July 7th, 2015.[1]

The original bellusromantic flag was created by an anonymous user on or before June 26, 2016, via the pride-color-schemes Tumblr account.
The most well-known bellusromantic flag was created by Tumblr user pride-color-schemes on June 26, 2016. The colors were inspired by the original flag.
The alternate flag was designed by FANDOM user Hypnott on November 15, 2020. The flag is a simplified version of the primary flag.[2]
