Avatargender or protagonistgender is a fictigender related to an avatar or protagonist in a world in the media (such as a video game or book), usually within a first person perspective where their thoughts are easily viewed. Those who identify as avatargender may feel a deep connection to the protagonists emotions, thoughts, and actions on a psychological and/or spiritual plane.
