Autogender is a gender experience that is deeply connected and personal to oneself. It cannot be described with existing terms due to how deeply personal the experience is. It may be used interchangeably with egogender.
It is the gender counterpart of autosexual.
Etymology
The prefix auto comes from the Greek word for self.

The term was coined by Tumblr user tenderagender on July 21, 2014.[1]
