Autiqueer is an queer orientation which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one's autism greatly affects one's queerness. Not all autistic queer people identify as autiqueer, only those whose queerness is influenced by them being autistic. Autiqueer is an exclusive identity only to be used by people on the autism spectrum.
History
Autiqueer has been coined by Tumblr user themogaidragon on 30, august, 2021 on the request of a anonymous Tumblr user.[1]
Flag
The pride flag has been designed by the same user on the same day. The colors were picked from the queer pride flag. The infinity symbol represents autism.
