Autifligender is a neurogender and subset of autigender that is described as one using "conflicting" or paradoxical gender labels because of how their autism affects their ability to understand or identify what specific gender(s) they are feeling. As this term requires the context of being autistic, it can exclusively be experienced by autistic individuals.
It may be considered similar to or a subset of both neurofligender and collfligender.
History
Autifligender was coined by the Tumblr blog mygenderisamess on June 28th, 2021.[1]
Flag
The flag was released in the same post as the coining. It is based off of the autigender flag, with it being edited to be flipped on one side to represent genders conflicting or being paradoxical. It is based off the collfligender flag, which uses the same switching of the stripe direction.[1][2]
