Apothiromantic is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum meaning someone who is romance repulsed. Those who are apothiromantic do not seek out romantic relationships and many dislike romantically coded actions such as kissing, or cuddling.
Apothiromantic is known as a modifier identity. Meaning that by saying that one is apothiromantic it is implied that one is also aromantic. In this case aromantic is the primary romantic identity and apothiromantic acts as a modifier, making a specific sub-category of aromantics.
The sexual counterpart to apothiromantic is apothisexual.
