    The aporangi pride flag.

Aporangi is an androgynous gender/lingender in which one is both androgynous/androgyne and aporine/aporagender. Their gender may be fluid or fluctuate, and could also be used to describe a polygender person who has both androgynous and aporine genders. Someone who is aporangi does not have to experience both exclusively or equally. Aporangi may feel like a xenic experience, but it is not always considered a xenogender - the xenic equivalent of this term is xendrogyne.

    History

Aporangi was coined by Tumblr user xenovampire (on March 26, 2021) as a term to go alongside xendrogyne , which was coined a few months beforehand.

Tumblr user xenovampire created Aporangi intending for it to be an androgynous gender and never specified it as a xenogender, however some may feel that Aporangi describes their xenic experience.
