Apexsexual is a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum describing an individual who does not experience sexual attraction towards strangers, may develop sexual attraction towards them when a personal bond forms, and then loses that sexual attraction when the bond grows stronger.
Apexsexual may be described as a combination of demisexual and fraysexual, where the demisexuality leads into fraysexuality.
The opposite of apexsexual is vallissexual.
The romantic equivalent is apexromantic.

Etymology
The prefix "apex-" comes from the Latin word meaning "peak" in reference to sexual attraction appearing/rising and then disappearing/falling as a personal bond develops.
