Antisexualism, or sex-negativity, describes opposition or hostility towards sexual freedoms and behavior.[1] Antisexuality describes someone who would rather not develop sexual feelings for people, but does anyway.[2][3]
The term antisexual or sex-negative is sometimes confused with the terms sex-repulsed and asexual.
Other terms whose meanings overlap or are interchangeable with antisexualism include sex-negativism, sex-negative movement, sex-negativity, demonization of sex, or, as an adjective, anti-sex or sex-negative.
