    The anticarnal flag.
    The alternate anticarnal flag.

Anticarnal is a term under the ARCsexual umbrella for individuals who are sex-repulsed in all contexts. An anticarnal individual is repulsed by the concept of sex in general, both at the idea of engaging in sex themselves, and at the idea of sexual activity that does not involve them. Anticarnal can be used by asexuals, and by sex-repulsed allosexuals.

    History

The term was coined by Kisten Sadi through WordPress and Tumblr on December 14, 2014.[1][2] It was first suggested on December 3, 2014.[3]

    Flag

The anticarnal flag was created by an unknown user on an unknown date.

The alternate flag was created by PerJoTheOcCreator on July 23, 2021.[4] The burgundy is for sex repulsion, white for sex repulsed allosexuals, black for anticarnal individuals who also fall under the asexual umbrella, and purple for community.
