    Anseqresexual flag.

Anseqresexual is a sexuality for when one only experiences sexual attraction towards an individual when no romantic attraction is expressed between them.

This does not necessarily mean that they are unable to have a both a sexual AND romantic relationship with another person, rather that they keep - or may wish to keep - the romantic and sexual aspects of relationships separate from each other entirely.

Experiencing anseqresexuality could include attraction towards someone significantly diminishing or entirely disappearing when either individual does romantic gestures, uses partner-oriented language or nicknames, being in traditionally romantic settings, etc. Which specific gestures are considered romantic vs sexual vs platonic are determined by each individual independently, so one person identifying as this may have very different trigger actions, words and scenarios than others.

This loss of sexual attraction is not always permanent, but could be depending on the individual.

This term is a combination of reciprosexual and ansequencesexual.

    Subsets

Variations of this sexuality usually depend on more specific circumstances being required for attraction to be lost, or for when there are explicit exceptions.

Aego-Anseqresexual: Experiencing anseqresexuality as described above but still enjoying romantic expression being present in sexual fantasies, porn and other sexual content.

Fray-Anseqresexual: Experiencing anseqresexuality only when you grow more connected with a person or initiate a labeled partnership of some kind. For example, one could be fine with romantic gestures being expressed or sprinkled into one-off sexual encounters with a stranger or acquaintance, but further along in the relationship with this person, or once they begin officially dating, the same gesture now causes a lack of sexual attraction.

Anseqresexual-spike: Experiencing anseqresexuality as the norm, but occasionally having rare, sudden and/or intense spikes of desire for - or feeling comfortable with - having mixed romantic and sexual encounters for a short amount of time, before returning, just as suddenly, to one's standard sexuality.
