The stripes do have a meaning: Orange represents '''shonen anime''', which is typically characterized by high-action and explosions. Pink represents '''shojo anime''', which is mostly based around romance, love, etc. And pink is the most common color for love. Dark red represents '''Seinen manga''', which is marketed toward young adult men, thus possibly there being alot of gore and blood, and blood is red. Salmon represents '''Josei anime,''' which is targeted for women, mostly from 18 to 45. Mostly they have very happy moments and the color definition of salmon is happy days happiness, so in this case salon represents happiness, and happy endings. Animategender, or mangagender, is a xenogender where one feel's like they're an anime/manga character, or feels connected to an anime/manga character or series. If one wishes to specify, they could add the name of the specific character and/or show to their gender to describe their specific gender. For example, someone could say they're K-on!!gender, or Narutogender, Dinogirlgaukogender, etc. One can also feel like a character in an Anime/manga for that they could say something like MinaAshidogender, MioAkiyamagender, etc.
