Amplexian, huggender or embracegender is a gender in the Scene System that can be described as "a gender that feels like hugging a loved one." It is a scenegender that feels calming, warm, tight and home. And goes along with this imagery: "You come home after a long day and waiting for you is your loved one with open arms, ready to embrace you. The embrace feels warm, tight and makes you feel relaxed after your long day."
History
Amplexugender was coined by FANDOM user Biancawrites, who posted about it on Reddit[1], on October 23th 2021. Huggender has been mentioned before on Tumblr, but there is no source of the coining.
Etymology
Amplexian comes from the Latin word "amplexus" which means embrace.
