Amphadic is a sexadic term for individuals who feel like their sex is both male and female, regardless of their gender.[2] It can be used by varsex individuals, such as those who are altersex or intersex.[3]
It's similar to salmacian, however salmacians don't need necessarily to associate their sex with male or female, and amphadic individuals don't have to desire or have ambiguous genitalia.[4]
It combines mulladic and wolfadic.[5]
History
The term amphadic was coined by Tumblr user plurgai-archive on or before February 28, 2021.[6]
