    The Aliusasexual Flag

Aliusasexual (not to be confused with Aliussexual) is a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum. It is the same as one being asexual but because of something, it feel as if it’s ‘another type’ (/different). Although they are asexual, the term doesn’t feel fully right to them.

    The Aliusdemisexual Flag
    The Aliusgreysexual Flag

For example one may be asexual and have a high libido. This could make them feel uncomfortable calling themselves an asexual.

The prefix- alius can be combined with demisexual, greysexual etc.

    History

The term was coined by ALDA on November 4, 2021.

    Flags

The colors/colours are the same on the asexual flag but in another order. It implies that it’s ‘another type’ of asexual

    • Grey
    • White
    • Purple
    • Black

This concept of having the colors/colours in another order is the same for demisexual, greysexual etc.

    Etymology

Alius means ‘another’ in Latin, combining it with ‘asexual’ is translated to ‘another asexual’.
