Its feminine counterpart is aguagirl.

The term was coined the 31st of October, 2021 by FANDOM user AlThewolf in a post in the LGBTA wiki.[1]
The flag was made on the 1st of November by FANDOM user Voup.ll. It has no confirmed meaning.[2]
