Aegogender is the feeling of disconnection or separation of gender from an individual. This term can be combined with another gender, or it can be used on its own. Some possible aegogender experiences can includes:
- Being genderless but having a vague or abstract connection to some gender.
- Having a gender, but feeling disconnected or disassociated from it.
- When imagining your own gender, you think of a different individual.
Aegogender individuals may or may not be genderless, but generally feel some connection to the genderless experience.
Flag
The aegogender flag consists of five stripes and a black triangle in the center. The blue, green, and pink stripes represent femininity, masculinity, and neutrality, respectively. The gray stripes represent genderlessness, and the black triangle represents these things being cut away or separated from an individual.
