Aegofictoromantic, also known as aegofictaro, is where one experiences exclusive romantic attraction towards fictional characters, however, it is often experienced from a dissociative third-person perspective, and not from the first-person; typically not desiring a romantic relationship.
The -sexual counterpart is aegofictosexual.
History and Flag
Aegofictoromantic was coined on May 20th, 2021 by Tumblr user wikipunk, and the aegofictoromantic flag was created by the same user on the same date.[1]
