Acosensual (or acorsensual) is an identity on the asensual spectrum that refers to someone who experiences sensual attraction, wants to act on it (via hugging or kissing for example), but at the same time has a strong aversion to engaging in it due to bad experiences, apprehension, or other misgivings about being involved in sensual relationships or activities.
Acosensual is typically used by people with PTSD or other trauma disorders. It can also be used by those whose neurodivergence or disability could cause apprehension about acting on one's sensual attraction. However, the term is not exclusive to these groups.
