Acebleed is a term on the asexual spectrum. It describes a person who is asexual and sex averse or sex repulsed, but also romance averse or romance repulsed because they view most forms of romantic intimacy as sexual. The romantic equivalent of this term is arobleed.
The amount of romantic attraction felt can vary between person.
History
Coined on 13th of June 2022 by Reddit user u/massivemarionberry97.
Etymology
The word acebleed is a combination of the words aromantic and bleed because an acebleed person feels that their sex aversion/repulsion is 'bleeding into their sex stance.
Flag
The dark purple stripe is for sex aversion/repulsion, the bright purple stripe represents asexuality. The green field represents romance aversion/repulsion and the red teardrop symbolises sex aversion/repulsion 'bleeding' into romance aversion/repulsion.
