Reign of the breadsticcsAbaedsexual, pronounced a-bay(d), is a micro-label to caedsexual is a sexuality used to describe an individual who was once asexual, but had it "cut away" due to trauma (abasexual), and due to the same, different, past or on-going trauma, one became asexual once again (caedsexual). In other words, an abaedsexual individuals sexuality was once abasexual, but due to trauma one became caedsexual, making them abaedsexual.
Abaedsexual is exclusive to those who have experience trauma of any kind.
The romantic counterpart is abaedromantic. The opposite of abaedsexual is caebasexual.
History
Abaedsexual was coined by Reddit user u/hiitsyaz on June 1st, 2021. Its flag was designed on July 3, 2021 by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs.
Etymology
The word "abaed" is a combination of the prefixes caed- and aba-.
