ACDCgender (also spelled AC/DCgender) is a musicagender based off the music of the Australian rock band AC/DC. An ACDCgender identifying individuals may feel that their gender is hard as a rock, as loud as Hell’s Bells, flashy, and legendary, and they may have felt thunderstruck when they first realised that ACDCgender was a valid form of self-expression.
A common misconception about the gender is that it is noise pollution. However, that is not true.[citation needed]
History
In March 2013, Brian French coined the term when xe found that xyr gender did not conform with any of the preexisting ones. Since then, roughly 200 other gender-diverse individuals, mostly in the region of Sydney, Australia, have adopted the gender.[citation needed]
Flag
The ACDCgender pride flag was designed by Anthony Hoyt, a proud ACDCgender person, in 2014. The black, white, and red stripes represent the colours of the band.[citation needed]
