    The ¿gender flag.

¿gender is gender that can only be explained through the Spanish language, due to the lack of words and associations appropriate to explain it in other languages.

    Flag

    The alternate ¿gender flag.

The flag was originally designed by Mod Hermy of the Tumblr blog ask-pride-color-schemes, and it was chosen from the scraps by an anonymous user,[1] who added the question marks and later assigned the following meanings to the stripes.[2][3] Pink represents women, green represents agender identities, white represents non-binary identities, orange represents bigender identities, and blue represents men.

    Etymology

The inverted question mark is found only in Spanish (both in Spain and in Latin America) and in languages that have cultural ties to it, such as Galician, Asturian, and Waray. Therefore, the term is exclusive to those who are Latine/Latinx and/or Hispanic.
