Tómtsex (pronounced tompt-sex) is a a term under the teresex and Tubuhive umbrella used to describe a headmate within a plural system that has missing or partial sex traits within the inner world. This includes, but is not limited to...
- A headmate with missing testicles and/or an undersized penis.
- A headmate with a missing clitoris and/or missing spots of the outter vagina.
- A headmate with missing ovaries or missing ovotestes.
- A headmate with no genitals at all.
- A headmate without breasts and/or other missing secondary sex traits.
They may or may not also identify as sexless or agenital depending on their inner body. For example, a headmate within a system that has only a single testicle may identify as both tómtsex as well as saying they have cryptorchidism.
This term is only to be used by those who are system members, and is not to be used by singlets or anyone who is not a system. One with this sex may identify as tómtgender as well.
History
This term was coined by Cryptocrew on April 15th of 2021 in order to help describe those who are in systems.
Etymology
Tómt means empty in Icelandic.
