Butterflygender is a xenogender that feels small, but also moves about, just as a butterfly would. It also can be used to describe a gender connected to butterflies. It is a faunagender and may also be a kingender.

The flag's stripes represent "complex relationships with gender, fluidity, freedom, gender non-conformity, smallness, variety, and comfort." The colors were based off of the wings of blue morpho and monarch butterflies.
