Wormgender, also known as vermgender, is a xenogender that is related to worms and dirt. This gender is similar to worms in that it feels wiggly, pink, or slimey. It can be considered a subset to buggender.
History
The term was coined by Fy through the Tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags on December 28, 2019. The flag was made by the same user on the same day.[1]
Flag
The wormgender flag has four pink stripes of different values. The first stripe represents nature, the second stripe represents love, the third stripe represents chaos, and the last stripe represents change.
Etymology
Verm comes from the word vermis, which is the Latin word for worm.
