Wispgender is a xenogender related to wisps, spirits, ghosts and other similar beings. This gender may or may not feel nonhuman/dead/etc. It may also be used to describe the "unknown" part of a demistatic person's gender. This gender may be considered an aesthetigender or a mythogender.

The flag was created by user Keteroodyne, who based it off the wis/wisp pronoun flag, on February 16th, 2021. The blue flame was picked due to its relation to will-o-wisps.
