Webpronounswap refers to a person who swaps between a given set of pronouns on the internet and a different set of pronoun(s) in person. It can be considered a subset to webgenderswap or websexualityswap. For example, one could use they/them in person, yet when on the internet they could use bun/bunself.
History
This term was coined by Fandom user Guns Før Hands on January 30, 2021 as a response to someone online who specifically requested for this term.[1]
