Triscenian is a gender in the Scene System that can be described as, ¨a gender that feels like a heartbreaking, sad movie scene¨. It has the feeling of dramaticized TV-like sadness- blurred tears as the sky pulsates with thunder and raindrops glide like avalanches down a window pane. Deep music resonates in the background, bringing audiences to shivers and tears with its solemnity, and this kind of feeling and aesthetic is what defines triscenian as a scenegender.

Etymology
Triscenian comes from scene and the Spanish word for sad, "triste".
