The Inter-System or TIS is a gender system for those who are intersex in some shape or form and wish to incorperate their sex with their gender, or feel as though their gender is effected by their sex. This is important, as many intersex individuals struggle with unique gender experiences due to the way their body has developed and/or how it functions.
Binary subsets
- Intergirl: an intersex individual who is a girl. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interboy: an intersex individual who is a boy. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interboth: an intersex individual who is both a boy and a girl, either simultaneously or back and forth. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
Non-binary subsets
- Interenby: an intersex individual who is non-binary (in any shape or form.) This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Intergenderless: an intersex individual who is genderless, agender, or on the agender spectrum. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Intermulti: an intersex person who is multigender, genderfluid, genderswap, or pangender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interneu: an intersex individual who has an androgynous and/or neutral gender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
Anonbinary subsets
- Interother: an intersex individual who is anonbinary, outherine, xenic (in any shape or form), or other. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interxeni: an intersex individual who has a xenic gender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interine: an intersex individual who has a outherine gender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Intercultu: an intersex individual who has a cultural-specific gender (indigender and/or nial). This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
Other subsets
- Interhyper: an intersex individual who is hypergender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interhypo: an intersex individual who is hypogender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
History
The Inter-System was coined by FANDOM users Cryptocrew and Uncertified Funny on May 14th of 2021.
Flag
The Inter-System flag was created by Uncertified Funny on May 14, 2021. The white stripe represents all exclusive intersex identities, as well as pangender intersex individuals in the inter-system. Black represents genderless intersex individuals in the inter-system. The intersex symbol has a bold outline of yellow, and touches the black stripes. This is to show that the inter-system is a large spectrum of exclusive intersex identities, and "touches every base," as Uncertified Funny put it.
