Usage

This is a template to set the current preferred archive domain. We currently use archive.today and web.archive.org. Both use the same URL formatting. Default site is archive.today.

How To:

Archive the resource using https://archive.ph/ or http://web.archive.org/.
Once archived, get the long share link.
Copy the text after the domain (everything after http://archive.today/ or http://web.archive.org/web/)

Add the template...

{{Archive|Site=today/web|URL=inputURLhere}}

today = https://archive.today/ | web = http://web.archive.org/web/

An example:

{{Archive|Site=today|URL=2021.12.17-160012/https://www.instagram.com/p/CR5RRdrhBcL/}}

To use a template, type {{ to bring up the Wikimedia UI, of which will request which template you would like to use. Ensure you fill in any optional arguments for the template creation.

Unverified Resources

These templates/categories are similar but have these distinct differences:

Category:Needs_Resource_Verification - The resources have yet to be verified.
Category:Pages_Without_Resources - There are no resources provided. Only legacy pages will be added to this category, and may be candidates for deletion.
Category:Pages_With_No_External_Sources - Was coined on an LGBTQIA+ wiki.
Category:Pages_With_No_History_Section - Lacks a history section.
