Technopronominal is the act of going by and identifying with text-only neopronouns. These pronouns are not typically ment to be spoken, and are intended for writing or digital text. Things that are included under technopronouns include:
- Emojiself pronouns.
- Pronouns that use numbers as well as letters with no clear pronunciation (ex: sh3/h3r/h3rs/h3rs/h3rself).
- Pronouns that use punctuation or contain other special characters (ex: ?/?/?s/?s/?self).
- Any other pronouns that cannot be easily say out loud (such as pronouns that do not have vowels).
The Technopronominal flag was made by a user going by Willow on November 14th, 2020. The yellow diamond represents emojiself pronouns, the white represents pronouns with numbers, the pale pink represents pronouns without vowels, the light pink represents feminine-associated pronouns, dark pink represents kingender-associated pronouns, light blue represents masculine-associated pronouns, dark blue represents xenogender-associated pronouns, and purple represents neutral-associated pronouns.
